Fourteen Lakes is a proudly independent group of food and coffee spots in and around Milton Keynes — including Lake Street Coffee, Fourteen Lakes Catering, and Cosgrove Store & Café.

The Story Behind Fourteen Lakes
My love for baking and cooking started in my gran’s kitchen.
I spent hours in there with her — stirring, measuring, waiting for cakes to rise. It’s where I felt happiest.
That’s where it began for me.
Over time, that passion grew into catering, coffee shops and Cosgrove. But I’ve always tried to keep the feeling the same. I never wanted this to feel corporate or complicated — just warm, welcoming and made with care.
Family is still at the heart of it. The wooden spoon from those early days is now in my daughter’s hands, and it reminds me why I started.
Fourteen Lakes is simply an extension of that kitchen — a place where people can come in, feel comfortable, and be looked after.

Meet the Team
At Fourteen Lakes, we’re proud to have a friendly, down-to-earth team who bring warmth and flavour to everything we do. Our founder Rachel is often found at Lake Street Coffee or the Cosgrove sites, helping out behind the counter, chatting with regulars, or serving up flat whites with a smile.
Across all our locations, our team members are the heart of the business — whether they’re prepping fresh food, welcoming customers, or keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. While faces may change over time, our commitment to great service and community never does.
